Blxst’s breakthrough track “Chosen,” starring Ty Dolla $ign and Tyga, has topped the charts at both Rhythmic and Urban radio, making it one of the few indie releases to do so this year. The record, which was released on Red Bull Records, has received over 300 million listens worldwide and won Blxst his first RIAA Gold certification.
“Chosen” has been a breakout track for the past year, debuting at #53 on the Billboard Hot 100. Blxst debuted on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last month, where he played the song with Ty Dolla $ign.
Last week, Blxst returned with his new single “About You.” The release is the first solo drop from the California singer since the release of his No Love Lost album last year. In between the releases, Blxst teamed with Nas for “Brunch on Sundays” and Snoop Dogg for “Go To War.” You can hear the new single below.
