When the chorus kicks in, it’s obvious that this song will be a worldwide success because of its highly catchy rhythm and melody that immediately grabs the listener’s attention.

Masicka is singing the chorus and boy does he know how to come up with catchy lyrics! The first stanza follows the intro/chorus and perfectly blends hip-hop and reggae, showcasing The Yutes’ ability and prowess. The chorus follows the verse.

Masicka performs the next verse; he is a master storyteller and a truly generational talent who understands his actions since he can sing the chorus and rap throughout the verse impeccably. The Yutes brothers return in the next stanza, and this song keeps improving as I listen.

These musicians’ skill is displayed here as they expertly blend dancehall with trap hip-hop. They have somehow succeeded in producing a wholly original work of art that stands out from the other artists’ work. These men are true innovators in trap dancehall!

Grammy-winning Teflon handled the song’s production, so everything is flawlessly matched and a joy to listen to. The synth melody complements the vocals by The Yutes and Masicka, while the bass line and rhythm sound thick. There is no doubt that mixing and mastering are done to perfection. But that’s not the end of it! The song is excellent and of exceptional quality, and there is also an official music video on Masicka’s YouTube account (see above). It’s worth seeing the video and listening to the music, which Shane Creative directed.

For many years, audiences worldwide will appreciate this timeless work of art since the music and pictures work so well together! The music video’s creators, Domingo Neris and Chuck Wilson, are also deserving of praise.

Chris and Tris’ sibling duo, The Yutes (Jamaican slang for “The Youth”), burst into the scene in 2017 with the song “Trap Don Dadas.” The song fused their Jamaican background with contemporary trap influences, solidifying them as forerunners of the dynamic sound we currently know as Trap Dancehall.

The Yutes, the sons of dancehall great Mr. Lexx, push the boundaries of creativity by using their unmatched authenticity and refined musical sense, drawing the attention of their current label Babygrande Records.

With their distinctive talent, the Jamaican style-benders have received several honors, including placement on A3C Volume 7 with “Trap Don Dadas” and a standout performance at SXSW with artists like J.I.D., DaBaby, and others. The Yutes’ “Bring It Back” song was released in 2020 and instantly reached one million Spotify plays.

The Yutes began 2021 with a collaboration called “High Grade” with Curren$y before releasing the hypnotic Shomi Patwary-directed song in the middle of the year. Because of all of these factors, I can’t help but urge you to listen to The Yutes and Masicka’s newest song, “Get Money”! To round off the year, there will be an official video for “Bring It Back,” and another song, “In The Kitchen,” with Stove God Cooks.

On “Get Money,” the first track from their upcoming album “Ghetto Youths,” they collaborate with Masicka, one of Jamaica’s hottest new cutting-edge dancehall artists.

The song has already been added to popular radio stations on the island, including Irie-fm, SunCity, and Hitz-fm. With the video gaining popularity on Tempo and BET, everyone is watching the Yutes. As their summer only gets hotter!
