Son Of Mars has announced that the follow up to his 2021 debut EP Son of Mars is called “Pandora’s Box Vol 1” via FamilyOverGold Ent. The first taste is “Mrs. Chosen One” a deeply psychedelic rap song produced by Keshi. If you’re into the outsider rap of artists like Kenny Mason and Red Veil you’re going to want to hear this.
Leading up to the album’s release, Mars placed mysterious Greek Mythology-themed clues across his social media with a toll-free number that gives information and hints about the upcoming project. He revealed the title along with the cover art, which finds a strange treasure chest emitting a powerful gold light while having the words “Pandora’s Box Vol 1” carved into it.
With his first project, Son Of Mars is ready to give fans a glimpse into his world. “Sharing my lifestyle with the world. Sharing my pain with the world. Sharing my ups, sharing my downs with the entire universe,” he told Tempo Networks. Melodic rap comes to mind when listening to his self-titled EP “Son of Mars” and with the upcoming project set to be released in late 2022. It’s rumored to lean more into Mars’ talent as a singer, it is only a matter of time before we learn more about the complexity of the artist that is Son Of Mars.
He hinted at some of the superstar guests that may be featured on the project with names like 808 Mafia, TM88, DP Beats, Keshi and more. His work as an artist and songwriter has only recently received praise and support as he headlines his first North American Tour titled “Pandora’s Box Vol 1”.
