Gucci Mane isn’t only adding to his family with the announcement of a new baby on the way with wife, he is also adding new artists to his popular 1017 record label with the announcement of new signee Baby Racks. Upon his arrival, Baby Racks and Gwoap drop the music video for their new collaboration, titled “Look Ma I Did It.”

In the Omar The Director-directed video, Racks and Gucci hit Las Vegas for a night of partying and blowing through the money fast. The new single is available on all platforms and expected to appear on Baby Racks 1017 debut, which arrives later on this year.

Gucci Mane discovered on social media and reached out to the new artist via direct message. And after the initial intro, the rest is history. Racks explains:

“Thru Instagram. Gucci hit me on a Tuesday morning in July and said wassup wit it what’s yo number I sent my number he text me and said what we doin I said let’s make history he immediately called me.”

The introduction would quickly lead to Baby Racks meeting Gucci in-person and further discussing a potential deal with 1017.

He continued: “Me and Gucci first conversation was about 45 mins he asked me what I wanted to do wit my music career stay independent or sign to him and i obviously chose to sign to him haha he sent the contract that same day my lawyer looked over it and we sent back a signed contract on Thursday.”

Baby Racks joins a roster of all-stars at 1017 that includes Fooligino, Big Scarr, and Pooh Sheisty. “Look Ma I Did It” has surpassed over one million streams on Spotify and is available now via 1017 Global Music/Atlantic Records.
