On the Jerry Morka-directed music video, BigX flaunts a lavish Texas-living lifestyle. From cowboy hats to “riding swangas” and diamond encrusted necklaces, “Texas” is a snapshot of him in a familiar and comfortable space. A breakout hit out the gate, “Texas” has accumulated over 300,000 views in less than a week on the artist’s YouTube channel.

2022 has been nothing short of trailblazing for the up-and-coming star. Before “Texas,” BigXThaPlug rose to fame with a string of breakout singles in “Active,” “I Know” featuring SauceWalka, and “Safehouse” featuring Maxo Kream, which have drawn 1,449,499 monthly listeners on Spotify. The new single comes behind the success of the rising star’s latest EP, The Big Stepper.
