MC/Producer UnLearn The World has zero chill in this cinematic visual for his latest song “Source Awards”. Shot on location in San Francisco and Directed by the Bay Area’s Noble Cinema, UnLearn’s witty wordplay takes front stage and aims to make a statement over bass heavy production from Jake One, who has produced for J. Cole, Drake and 50 Cent, just to name a few. This is the first video to be filmed at the new HH4C Film Studios in the Bay Area, part of the Non Profit, Hip Hop For Change, which educates and empowers local Hip Hop artists.

UnLearn reps heavy for two regions with lines like “East and West coast, this is Roc A Fella and Death Row…” as well as evoking Hip Hop history in the hook “I feel like Suge Knight, giving speeches at The Source Awards”, all the while blowing cigar smoke into the face of the camera.

As a born and bred product of the late 90’s New York City underground Hip-Hop scene, UnLearn takes the best from all dimensions of songwriting, in order to showcase his substantive, yet accessible brand of lyricism. Early on as a performer, UnLearn received notoriety as a supporting act for the Lyricist Lounge Club Series Tour, opening up shows for Dead Prez, Killer Mike, and Big Daddy Kane. Since then, UnLearn has gone on to collab with producers like Jake One and fellow underground luminaries like Skyzoo, Nems and the Bay Area’s own Locksmith.

His latest album CROWNS is closing in on 3 Million streams on Spotify and has been featured on Genius, All Hip Hop, Hip Hop Since 1987 and other Hip Hop publications. Aside from rapping and production, UnLearn is also the Education Director for the Oakland based non profit Hip Hop For Change.
