NBC4 in Washington D.C. reported that Tiffany Taylor was in a sugar baby relationship with Fasil Teklemariam. On April 5th, Teklemariam was found dead inside of his apartment with blunt force trauma injuries and stab wounds, with one of his thumbs cut off.

D.C. Metro Police believe that Fasil was dead about three days before his body was discovered. Police were also able to access surveillance footage from Fasil’s apartment that showed Taylor, Miller, and two other men leaving the apartment complex days after the killing. The suspects also allegedly used the victim’s key FOB to go into his apartment and steal an assortment of items, including electronics and jewelry.

Teklemariam’s phone last pinged near Taylor’s D.C. apartment.

Police also learned that before his death, Teklemariam reported Taylor to the authorities for stealing his phone and Cashapping money to herself without his permission. Taylor and Miller were both charged with first-degree murder and armed felony murder. One of the men caught on camera with the two suspects was also arrested but has not yet been charged with a crime.

Police have yet to recover Teklemariam’s thumb or any of his stolen items.
