For an unforgettable date night in the heart of Times Square, look no further than Circo Restaurant and Club, located at 1604 Broadway. My husband and I recently ventured into this gem, expecting a luxurious dining experience, but what we encountered went far beyond thatāit was a night of thrilling entertainment and elevated cuisine that exceeded all expectations.
Circoās atmosphere transcends traditional dining, immersing you in a vibrant, nightclub-like environment that pulses with excitement. Upon entering, you’re welcomed by an enchanting, multi-level space, where every corner holds an artistic performance or musical element, creating a sensory feast unlike any other. As we ascended to the second and third levels, it became clear that Circo Restaurant and Club isn’t just a restaurantāit’s a spectacle.
Our evening began with a delicious cocktail, The Floor Is Guavaāa refreshing blend of Titoās vodka, ginger, guava, lime, and soda that set the tone for the flavors ahead. For appetizers, we savored Tuna 3 Ways, with toquito, tiradito, and ceviche presentations that delighted the senses. The Yucca & Cangrejo Croquettes, with saffron, corn relish, and smoked paprika, were the perfect prelude to the star of the night: the Argentinian Oysters Rockefeller. Crispy and creamy, with parmesan and horseradish cream, these oysters were the best Iāve ever tasted.
The feast continued with the Circo Tijuana Caesar Salad, featuring shredded romaine, cotija cheese, crispy boquerones, and homemade croutons. We then enjoyed the tender Pulpo Yucatecoāgrilled octopus bathed in a warm chorizo garlic salsaāand the flavorful Branzino Con Malanga, crusted with tarot root and served with a sofrito pineapple salsa.
For our main course, we shared Arroz Con Mariscos, a decadent seafood dish loaded with Ā½ lobster, shrimp, octopus, mussels, and clams. To end the meal on a high note, we indulged in a rich chocolate lava cake with luscious chocolate sauceāa perfect finale.
As the night progressed, the energy at Circo shifted into high gear. World-class DJs took over, and the venue transformed into a pulsating nightclub, providing the ultimate escape. My husband and I danced the night away, reveling in the electric atmosphere.
