Samuel “Hooliboy” Kyei, a Bronx-born dancer and choreographer of Ghanaian descent, discovered his passion for movement at just 4 years old, heavily inspired by the moves and style of Michael Jackson. Merging hip-hop with African grooves, he has crafted a distinct style that sets him apart. Hooli’s talent has led him to choreograph and perform alongside icons like Chris Brown, Davido, Teyana Taylor, Wizkid, and DJ Tunez.

His impressive dance credits include STARZ’s Run the World, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Jennifer Hudson Show, the BET Awards, and FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance (Season 17). He was the first Afro-dancer to be on the show and showcase the style. Hooli has also made featured appearances on FOX, NBC, and BET. He has also partnered with clothing brand Black Pyramid.

Recently, Hooli held a well-attended Afro-dance workshop during Red Bull’s Dance Your Style World Finals week in Mumbai, India, further showcasing his global influence. He has also been featured in The Red Bulletin, Red Bull’s signature magazine, highlighting his artistry and impact.
From intimate gatherings to global stages, Hooli has stayed true to his craft while realizing his dreams. His mission to promote “One Africa to the World” and has cemented his role as a trailblazer in the entertainment industry.
