Lil Xan is facing legal trouble following an altercation at a Boston show that reportedly turned physical. The rapper has been charged with two felony counts of assault and battery after allegedly attacking a fan during his November performance at Royale Boston nightclub.
According to law enforcement sources, one charge stems from Lil Xan allegedly swinging a microphone at the concertgoer. In contrast, the second charge relates to him purportedly kicking the individual in the head.
Authorities had been searching for the “Betrayed” artist after he reportedly fled the scene following the altercation. Witnesses claim the attack was unprovoked, though footage from the event shows the fan flipping off the rapper moments before the confrontation escalated. Additional video appears to capture Lil Xan being body-slammed onstage shortly after the alleged assault.
The incident comes when the rapper had been striving for a fresh start, having recently celebrated three years of sobriety. He previously stated his commitment to avoiding situations like this in the future, but the legal fallout from this incident may prove to be a significant hurdle.
