Travis Scott Mistakenly Briefly Held by Security at Lakers–Clippers Game

Well, hopefully, this is just a semi-harmless mistake. Okay, Travis Scott was enjoying a courtside view at the highly anticipated Lakers–Clippers game when a surprising incident unfolded after the game. The Grammy-nominated rapper was pulled by security, seemingly under the impression he didn’t belong on the court.

Our good friends at TMZ obtained video footage showing Scott walking among NBA officials and other personnel after the game when a security guard approached him. Unaware of Scott’s identity, the guard attempted to remove the rapper from the court, grabbing him to escort him off. However, Scott quickly brushed off the guard’s intervention and continued walking.

The confusion appears to have stemmed from a misunderstanding, as the security guard reportedly searched for Scott’s floor-access credential. When one couldn’t be located, the guard mistakenly assumed that Scott didn’t have the proper access.

Despite the awkward but brief moment, Scott had been enjoying the game, even celebrating Bronny James’ first-ever NBA three-pointer. The Lakers triumphed with a final score of 122–97, capping off an eventful and memorable evening for the artist.
