Zillionaire Doe: Dallas’ Rising Star Speaks on Joining CMG and Sets His Sights on Stardom

Dallas has a new star on the rise, and his name is Zillionaire Doe. The buzzing hip-hop artist has been making waves in the industry, and now, his career is set to reach new heights after signing with Yo Gotti’s powerhouse label, CMG. The multiplatinum rapper, entrepreneur, and record executive officially welcomed Doe to the roster, adding him to a growing lineup that includes some of the hottest names in hip-hop today.

For Doe, the signing is more than just a career move—it’s a full-circle moment. Inspired to rap after the tragic loss of his best friend, Doe first gained local traction in 2023 with his debut project, Life of a Zillionaire. His breakout year came in 2024, thanks to standout tracks like “Back to The South” and “Trap Motivation,” which earned him co-signs from industry heavyweights like Future, Rod Wave, and Moneybagg Yo.

Now, with the backing of CMG, Doe is ready to take his music to the next level. In this exclusive interview, he opens up about signing with CMG, the personal journey that fuels his music, and what’s next for his rising career.

What does joining a label like CMG mean to you, especially with Yo Gotti believing in your talent and hustle?

It means a lot from where I come from. It works because I complement the brand well, and to have someone who believes in you, I feel, is worth more than any amount of money. Yo Gotti believing in my talent means the world and gives me confidence with what I have going on and what I’m building.

Your music career started as a way to honor your best friend—how has their memory continued to influence your journey and creativity?

Everything is for him; it’s all for him. I never wanted to rap, and when I did, I didn’t believe in it much. For him to see something in me that I didn’t see in myself is how this all started. I wish he could see where my career is today; it’s amazing. We’re doing this for him every day, every step of the way.

Life of a Zillionaire helped you gain traction, but 2024 was a breakout year with tracks like “Back to The South” and “Trap Motivation.” How do you approach creating music that resonates so strongly with listeners?

At this point, it comes naturally. It’s all in my head from my personal experiences that I replay in my mind. Then, I just put it down on a track in the studio.

With CMG’s resources and structure, how do you plan to elevate your music and brand in the coming years?

We are going to elevate, all the way. My team has been doing everything on our own up until this point. My big brother and dad have been doing music for a while, but they have only so many resources and connections.

I’m looking forward to expanding. We’re going to add fuel to the fire that we already had going. We’re going to do it big.

You’ve received support from industry heavyweights like Future, Rod Wave, and Moneybagg Yo. How has their encouragement influenced your growth as an artist?

It’s motivation to keep going. I get down and discouraged sometimes, but seeing people like them support and acknowledge me makes me want to keep pushing and go harder.

You just released your new mixtape, “D Boi Dreams,” what was your approach for it, and what do you want people to take away from it?

I want it to feel good to my listeners, it’s feel-good music. I want it to be all good vibes. I want my fans to feel like anything is possible. Whatever they want to be or do, they can do it. My fans know where I came from, so I hope they feel inspired and motivated by my story.
