HO2FA Drops “Hopped off the Porch” EP While Incarcerated, Featuring Jim Jones and Production from 4th Disciple

“This big money talk—ballin’! Yeah, dub G’s in the building. Ya know it’s a Midwest thang—we back in Ohio and all that. It’s ya boy H-O-2-F-A, Ohio’s Goodfella, Cadillac Coupe Deville, ridin’ dirty. N*a, it’s ya boy Jones—shit sound like a movie—soundtrack to my life.”

That’s the electrifying intro to “Red Carpet,” the lead single from HO2FA’s latest project, Hopped off the Porch. The track features Dipset’s own Jim Jones and boasts production from legendary Wu-Tang producer 4th Disciple. Dropping February 21 via Dominion Hill Records, the EP is already generating major buzz—especially amid the ongoing tension between Jim Jones and Cam’ron, as well as HO2FA’s current incarceration.

The Story Behind Hopped off the Porch
Ohio rapper HO2FA, also known as Hoffa, was gearing up to release a full-length album before his legal troubles landed him behind bars in 2024. Sentenced to two years, the MC didn’t let his situation halt his momentum. He’s continued to drop heat from behind the walls, including a standout feature on Wu-Tang affiliate Solomon Childs’ track The God, produced by Pittsburgh’s own Tone Fultz.

Described as a cinematic, boom-bap masterpiece, Hopped off the Porch takes listeners deep into Hoffa’s mind—tracing his journey from Ohio’s public housing projects to securing collaborations with hip-hop heavyweights. The EP captures the raw essence of ’90s-era rap, with “Red Carpet” showcasing Jim Jones in vintage Ballin’ form.

Keeping the Momentum Alive
“Bar for bar, Hoffa is one of the illest MCs I’ve ever heard—I’m a fan,” says Rhasun of Dominion Hill Records. “He comes from the origins of that classic ’90s hip-hop sound. As a kid, he influenced artists who were already stars in the game. From his artistic attributes to his wordplay and metaphors, nobody was really pushing mob talk in hip-hop like he was. I saw him making waves in sixth or seventh grade. If not for a few setbacks, who knows where he’d be now?”

Despite his current circumstances, Rhasun and his team—alongside Supreme—are dedicated to keeping Hoffa’s name alive. “We were fortunate to work together before he went in, and now with this new EP, we’re expecting it to be one of the best projects of 2025.”

With Hopped off the Porch dropping soon, fans can expect a raw, unfiltered project that solidifies HO2FA’s legacy—even from behind bars.
