WWE 2K25 Introduces ‘The Island,’ A New Immersive Multiplayer Experience

2K has unveiled The Island, a groundbreaking new mode in WWE 2K25, exclusively for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. This immersive WWE-themed world offers players the chance to explore unique districts, compete in matches, and take on quests—all while working to earn the favor of Roman Reigns, The Tribal Chief.

The Island features four distinct districts, each inspired by different facets of WWE: Hero HQ, a battleground for the company’s top babyfaces; The Arcade of Tomorrow, a futuristic haven of innovation; The Temple of the Ancestors, paying homage to Lucha Libre culture; and The Deadlands, a supernatural realm filled with eerie challenges. Each district features its own arena, where players can take on PvP matchups, challenges, and quest battles.

Customization takes center stage with MySUPERSTAR Builder, allowing players to craft and personalize their wrestlers down to attributes, badges, and in-ring abilities. Players can level up their MySUPERSTARs by completing quests, competing in events, and earning XP and VC. Additionally, The Island offers exclusive customization options, including apparel from popular fashion brands and the WWE Shop.

The game also features a five-chapter story mode, with the first chapter launching on March 14, 2025, and additional content rolling out post-launch at no extra cost. PvP matchmaking, ranking systems, and live events further enhance the experience, with up to 50 players able to explore the same server together.

WWE 2K25 launches in three editions: Standard (March 14), Deadman, and Bloodline Editions (March 7). Pre-orders include the Wyatt Sicks Pack, featuring five playable superstars, including Uncle Howdy and Dexter Lumis.
