Another day, another 50 Cent opp. This time the G-Unit honcho addressed Joe Budden’s recent comments suggesting that the rapper may need therapy following his controversial reaction to the death of Murder Inc. co-founder Irv Gotti.
Well, listen, when you suggest someone might be in crisis with their mental health, and that person doesn’t agree with your nonscientific/nonmedical assessment, you can expect that person to clap TF back (Ja Rule voice).
So, let’s dive in.
On his podcast, Budden was discussing the Irv Gotti passing –RIP Irv–and said the 50 Cent needs therapy statement in response to 50 allegedly trolling Irv after he died.
50 wasn’t feeling that, so he posted on social media:
“Stay out my mix Joe talking about I need therapy.”
50 further slammed Budden, referencing a previous incident where Budden was seen sleepwalking:
“B_itch you need to stop walking around naked. The f**k is you doing in the hallway with ya balls out PUNK!”
What’s more, 50 Cent shared a GIF of Budden during an old argument on the podcast, captioned:
“They just told Joe what I said, yeah I mean what I said PUNK!”
Like we said, the discussion on Budden’s podcast and ICYMI, 50 Cent had posted a photo of himself smoking hookah with an “R.I.P.” placard next to him, captioned, “I’m smoking on dat Gotti pack. Nah God bless him LOL.”
Co-host Queenz Flip noted that Irv Gotti was associated with individuals who had previously attempted to harm 50 Cent, suggesting that 50 Cent’s reaction was consistent with his past grievances.
So, the plot thickens …
Budden disagreed, stating, “Y’all always mix it up, because ‘Hip-Hop’ is the new meaning for ‘I need therapy.’”
He added, “Kanye West needs therapy. 50 Cent needs therapy. I don’t care if you agree with the rationale. And 50’s 50, he gon’ stand in it.”
Well, 50 may have a point. Joe was allegedly walking around in his birthday suit and ringing neighbors’ doorbells. Like, sleepwalking or not … wtf?
