Lil Durk Faces Wrongful Death Lawsuit In The Killing Of Quando Rondo’s Cousin

Lil Durk’s legal troubles continue to mount, as he now faces a wrongful death lawsuit from the mother of Quando Rondo’s late cousin, Saviay’a Robinson, also known as Lil PAB.

Robinson was fatally shot in August 2022 during an alleged attempt on Quando Rondo’s life. Durk, who is currently behind bars, is awaiting trial on accusations that he orchestrated the incident. Originally set to begin on January 7, legal reporter Meghann Cuniff revealed that the trial has been pushed back to October 14, citing newly obtained court documents.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Robinson’s mother, Andrea Laquila Robinson, filed the wrongful death lawsuit in a Chicago court earlier this month. The suit names Lil Durk, his OTF record label, an unnamed business manager, and an unnamed management company as defendants, holding them responsible for her son’s death.

Andrea’s attorney issued a statement to the Times, saying: “The premature loss of Mr. Robinson has devastated his family and community. We filed this lawsuit to hold those responsible accountable and to ensure his family receives the support they need during this difficult time.”

Meanwhile, Durk’s criminal trial continues to face delays. Prosecutors cite the “complex” nature of the case, which involves over 230 GB of digital evidence, including surveillance footage, audio and video recordings, and approximately 20,000 pages of reports related to murder, violent crimes, photographs, witness statements, and medical documents.

Cuniff also reported that one of Durk’s co-defendants, Asa “Boogie” Houston, has opposed the trial delay, while another co-defendant, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, may be considering a plea deal.

With both civil and criminal cases looming, Lil Durk faces a long legal battle ahead.
