
Stephen Curry brought together hip-hop icons and sports figures for the exclusive “Court of Gold” pre-game brunch during NBA All-Star Weekend. Hosted by Netflix, with Waymo as the exclusive stage sponsor, the event took place at Splash at Thrive City and featured Too $hort, E-40, Matt Barnes, Stephen Jackson, and entrepreneur Ron “Boss” Everline as co-hosts.
The invite-only affair attracted a star-studded guest list, including Saweetie, Kenya Barris, David Banner, Mickey Guyton, Angela Yee, Gillie & Wallo, Mistah F.A.B., P-Lo, Richie Rich, Sib Vicious, and Money B of Digital Underground.
LaRussell delivered a soulful performance on the Waymo Stage, celebrating the Bay Area’s rich musical culture alongside Too $hort, Saweetie, P-Lo, and Money B. A standout moment saw Mistah F.A.B. gifting Curry a custom jacket.
The event also featured a special screening of Netflix’s Court of Gold, which debuted on February 18. The series provides an inside look at the men’s national basketball teams from the USA, France, Serbia, and Canada as they prepare for the 2024 Paris Olympics. Guests also explored a Legacy Museum exhibit showcasing some of Curry’s most iconic memorabilia, including his Olympic medal.
Attendees enjoyed a luxurious hospitality experience, complete with an open bar featuring E. Cuarenta Tequila, Earl Stevens Selections Wine, Gentleman’s Cut Bourbon, Gran Coramino Tequila, and Anillos Mezcal. The “gold carpet” step-and-repeat provided the perfect photo opportunity, capping off a celebration of sports, music, and culture.
