Gov. Ron DeSantis Says Andrew Tate and His Brother ‘Not Welcome’ in Florida Amid Rumors of Trump Administration Backing

Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate have returned to America, specifically Florida, after a lengthy stay in Romania. But the red carpet has not been rolled out; Gov. Ron DeSantis says the brothers are not welcome.

“The reality is, Florida is not a place where you are welcome, with that type of conduct in the air,” DeSantis said. “I don’t know how it came to this. We were not involved. We were not notified.”

What’s the conduct? Sex trafficking and rape. The two arrived in Fort Lauderdale, facing charges from Romanian prosecutors of running a criminal enterprise. According to CBS News, the Tates and two women used their enterprise to exploit multiple people sexually. Andrew Tate is facing rape and trafficking offenses, while the others have trafficking and related charges.

According to The Financial Times, the Tates have the support of the Trump Administration, which pressed the Romanian government to return their passports. The country’s Prime Minister acknowledges communication but says he was not pressured. As far as Trump, he claims to know nothing about the entire ordeal.
