In a historic first for professional boxing, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) has signed seven-division world champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano (47-3-1, 31 KOs) to a lifetime contract, ensuring she will compete under the MVP banner for the remainder of her career. The deal also secures her a leadership role post-retirement, where she will serve as Chairwoman of MVP’s women’s boxing initiatives, focusing on scouting, signing, and mentoring the next generation of female fighters.
Serrano’s impact on the sport is undeniable. She is Puerto Rico’s first-ever undisputed world champion and the most decorated female fighter in boxing history. Since turning pro in 2009, she has shattered records, claiming world titles in seven different weight classes, a feat recognized by Guinness World Records. Her current featherweight dominance began in 2019 with a victory over Heather Hardy for the WBO title, a belt she has successfully defended six times.
Her partnership with Jake Paul and MVP began in 2021 when she fought as the co-main event of Paul’s undercard. Recognizing her talent and star power, Paul and Nakisa Bidarian signed Serrano to elevate women’s boxing to mainstream prominence. That vision materialized in 2022 when Serrano and Katie Taylor headlined Madison Square Garden in a history-making fight; the first-ever women’s bout to headline the legendary venue. Despite a razor-thin split decision loss to Taylor, the fight was hailed as a watershed moment, earning Sports Illustrated’s Fight of the Year and The Ring’s Event of the Year, while also receiving a Sports Business Journal Event of the Year nomination.
With this lifetime deal, MVP cements its commitment to revolutionizing women’s boxing, and Serrano, a true trailblazer, will continue leading the charge—both inside the ring and beyond.
