WATCH: Kai Cenat Sparks Heated Debate with Stephen A. Smith on LeBron vs. Michael Jordan

Streamers are everywhere. Now, they’re taking over ESPN! Kidding, but anyway, Kai Cenat made a memorable debut on First Take, sparking an entertaining and lively debate with Stephen A. Smith. The popular streamer, known for his bold opinions, was ready to make an impact as he sat down with the ESPN sports personality.

After some light banter, the conversation quickly heated up. Just two minutes into their discussion, Smith jokingly threatened to ban Cenat over a comment he made about Leandro Barbosa. However, things took a more intense turn when Cenat shared his thoughts on the LeBron James vs. Michael Jordan debate.

“I ain’t gonna lie, Stephen. When it comes to LeBron James, you start hating! That’s how I feel!” Cenat boldly declared. “I feel like you’re more of an older generation type of dude; you like Michael Jordan, cool. But listen, every time there’s a debate going on with Michael Jordan and LeBron James, you always got something to say about LBJ.”

Get this: Cenat didn’t hold back and ended his rant by stating, “And I’m here to say it: LeBron is better than Jordan. I said it.” The co-hosts, Elle Duncan and Molly Qerim, were visibly shocked by the bold claim.

Smith quickly defended his stance, playfully challenging Cenat, “Something is wrong with you right now, don’t you even think about coming on this show with that kind of- don’t you even think about it!”

The debate then ramped up as the two fired back with their respective arguments. Cenat pointed out, “Michael Jordan ain’t ever have 50,000 points.” Smith immediately countered, “He ain’t play 25 years!”

Then, with a grin, Smith had to play the age card, saying, “This is the problem with the young whippersnappers like yourself. We started the show raving about his unparalleled greatness. We give him all the credit in the world and there’s some whippersnapper like yourself who comes on the show going, ‘You hatin’, you hatin’!’ It’s like wait a minute, you want us to give him a bib and an apron, too? We get that the man is one of the greatest players ever!”

Despite the light-hearted tension, the two immediately softened the mood with some casual humor as Kai switched the topic to whether or not Smith could still play basketball.

The LeBron vs. Jordan debate continues. All we have to say is that 50,000 points are 50,000 points, period.
