Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is back in action and now the Matrix star is set to take on a thrilling new role both in front of and behind the camera. The acclaimed actor, known for his roles in Wonder Man and Man on Fire, has signed a first-look deal with Sony Pictures Television through his production company, House Eleven10. As part of the agreement, Abdul-Mateen will star in and produce the upcoming action-drama series Ghostman, based on the novel by Roger Hobbs of the same name.

Moreover, Andrew Plotkin, Sony Pictures Television’s executive vice president of drama development, also shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration. “We are thrilled to have Yahya and his production team join the Sony family. Not only is he an incredible performer, but he is also a passionate storyteller whose creativity and vision will elevate every project he touches,” Plotkin said. “His dedication to bringing complex, compelling narratives to life aligns perfectly with our commitment to delivering unique and impactful stories to audiences worldwide.”
