Mother Of Zion Williamson’s Child Arrested For Assault Of His Alleged Side Chick

Zion Williamson’s off-court drama continues to draw headlines, this time stemming from a violent encounter involving two women in his personal life. Ahkeema Love, the mother of Williamson’s child and his former partner, has been arrested and charged following an alleged assault on a woman believed to be his current girlfriend.

According to the New York Post, Love is facing multiple charges, including home invasion, aggravated burglary, and stalking. Her bond has been set at $50,000.

The incident reportedly began on March 17 when Love allegedly vandalized Williamson’s home in Kenner, Louisiana, where the unnamed current girlfriend was staying. Love, who is also reportedly expecting another child—possibly with the NBA star, though that remains speculative—allegedly stalked the woman on Instagram, sending threatening messages that read in part: “Don’t worry. It’s going to be your head next when I drop this baby. Count your days.”

Despite no longer being in a relationship with Williamson, Love still had access to his gated residence. Authorities say she returned to the home, where the altercation took place. According to the police report, Love assaulted the woman, grabbing her hair and striking her with closed fists, while allegedly holding keys in her hand. The victim suffered serious injuries, including four torn-off fingernails, a large contusion on her head, and lacerations around her eyes.

Love fled the scene but was later apprehended and appeared in court on April 8. She has been ordered to stay away from the victim and surrender a firearm reportedly in her possession. While it is unclear if a restraining order has been filed, a judge imposed strict conditions on her release.

Love’s attorney, Brian Capitelli, argued for a reduced bond because she has no prior history of violence and is a full-time stay-at-home mother. He also confirmed that Love and Williamson share a young daughter, whose name has not been made public.

Zion Williamson has not publicly addressed the matter as the legal situation unfolds.
