As the NBA regular season wraps up, the final NBA 2K25 Player Ratings update arrives just in time for the playoffs—and three names are trending up: Kawhi Leonard, Tyrese Haliburton, and Quentin Grimes.
Kawhi Leonard jumps to a 91 OVR (+2), leading the red-hot Clippers to a six-game win streak and a dominant 16-4 stretch. The Klaw’s been locked in, suiting up nearly every game since late February, averaging 25.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.3 steals over the past two weeks. Leonard’s playoff presence could be the difference-maker with the West wide open.
Tyrese Haliburton rises to a 90 OVR (+1) after steering the Pacers to home-court advantage. Though his scoring dipped slightly, the All-Star guard has remained one of the league’s most efficient floor generals, posting a career-low 9.8 turnover percentage per 100 possessions. Indiana’s playoff hopes run through Haliburton’s smooth playmaking.
Now sitting at an 85 OVR (+1), Quentin Grimes has found his groove in Philly. After being dealt midseason by Dallas, the young guard has stepped up in a big way with the key 76ers out. Grimes is making sure the league knows his name, averaging 23.2 points, 5.5 assists, and 5.5 boards over the last two weeks—including a 46-point explosion.
The stage is set. The playoffs are here. And these players are peaking at just the right time.
