WATCH: Lil Wayne Debuts Brand New Young Money Lineup Ahead of “Tha Carter VI” Release

New vibes activated. Lil Wayne is ushering in a new chapter for Young Money Entertainment, revealing a roster of fresh talent as he prepares for the next phase of his storied career.

The reveal all went down during a recent episode of Young Money Radio on Apple Music, during which the rap icon introduced fans to the label’s new signees: Jay Jones, Allan Cubas, Domiio (also known as Drizzy P), Euro, Poppy, and Lucifena. Each artist brings a unique sound and style to the Young Money collective, representing a bold new direction for the influential label.

This refreshing announcement’s timing is no coincidence. Lil Wayne is building momentum ahead of the long-awaited Tha Carter VI, which is due out June 6.

Lucifena stood out as a genre-bending addition. With a vocal style reminiscent of grunge and metal acts like Nirvana and Deftones, she caught Wayne’s attention with her song “Tyrant.” He was so taken by her intense delivery that he added both a guitar solo and a verse to the track.

Tunechi also praised Poppy, hailing the fellow New Orleans rapper as his “Motherf**kin’ son” and jokingly claiming to have raised him. He pointed to Poppy’s gritty sound and signature locs as reasons he immediately connected with his style.

As for Allan Cubas, Lil Wayne highlighted his ability to transition fluidly between rap and Latin music. “Something we’ve never had at Young Money,” he said, applauding Cubas’ versatility.

Jay Jones also received a spotlight during the episode as Wayne discussed his recent mixtape Almost Forgot Who I Was. The two are teaming up with Cubas for an upcoming collaborative project titled Flight 504, which aims to blend their approaches into one cohesive sound.

Drizzy P, aka Domiio, was recognized for his stage presence and undeniable confidence. “Confidence through the roof,” Wayne said, emphasizing how essential that energy is for success.

Get this, the new wave of artists joins returning Young Money veterans like Cory Gunz and Lil Twist. Gunz expressed excitement about working with the newcomers: “We got to make each thing better than the last one.” Meanwhile, Twist is exploring new musical terrain, blending alternative hip-hop with live instrumentation. “I’m rocking with the alternative Hip-Hop rock,” he said, revealing plans to perform with a live band—echoing Lil Wayne’s own rock experiment with 2010’s Rebirth.
