Finesse2Tymes Has Terroristic Threats Case Dismissed

Finesse2Tymes just scored a legal victory, as the terroristic threats case brought against him earlier this year has officially been dismissed.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ on May 9, prosecutors moved to drop the case due to insufficient evidence, stating they could not prove the allegations beyond a reasonable doubt. A judge approved the dismissal, clearing the Memphis rapper of the charges.

Finesse2Tymes’ attorney, Carl A. Moore, issued a statement following the decision, saying, “Mr. Ricky Hampton, aka Finesse2Tymes, maintained his innocence from the very beginning of this case, and today, justice prevailed.”

The charges stemmed from a January incident in which Finesse was accused of threatening to shoot a woman during a heated dispute involving King—a preteen the rapper had taken under his mentorship at the time. That relationship appears to have since deteriorated, but with the legal matter now resolved, Finesse2Tymes can move forward.
