Houston rapper Cashout Ace, known for his street-centric music and digital presence, was arrested on Monday (May 5) and now faces serious criminal allegations. The 25-year-old artist, whose real name is Miguel Guajardo, has been charged with aggravated promotion of prostitution and is currently being held without bond at the Harris County Jail.
According to court documents, Guajardo is accused of trafficking two women from Fort Worth to Houston and orchestrating their involvement in commercial sex. Prosecutors allege he managed their travel, lodging, and appointment logistics, acting as the coordinator in what authorities describe as a structured trafficking operation.
The investigation began as part of a Houston Police Department undercover operation targeting online platforms known to facilitate sex work and trafficking. An officer, posing as a potential client, responded to a digital ad and arranged to meet a woman at a local hotel. Once inside, police detained her and conducted an interview.

The woman reportedly told investigators she was not working independently. She claimed a man identified only as “Josh” had been directing her activities, including pricing and scheduling. Further investigation linked “Josh” to Guajardo, prompting a broader inquiry that included surveillance and digital evidence.
Law enforcement officials said the case reflects typical indicators of organized exploitation, including interstate movement, financial control, and psychological coercion. While the investigation is still active, authorities say the structure of the alleged operation may open the door for potential federal involvement.
Guajardo has not publicly responded to the allegations, and his legal representation has yet to make a statement. If convicted, he could face extensive prison time, particularly if additional charges or victims are uncovered.
Once recognized for his music’s gritty reflections of survival and ambition, Cashout Ace had built a modest following with tracks like “Keep Doing You.” His visuals often featured luxury cars, designer fashion, and cash-filled backdrops—imagery that now contrasts starkly with the severity of the accusations.
Houston police are encouraging anyone with information related to the case to come forward as the investigation continues.
