Wale is once again clearing the air on a bizarre rumor involving Diddy. During a recent appearance on Atlanta’s The Morning Hustle, the D.C. rapper was caught off guard when asked about claims that he was once dangled off a balcony by his ankles by Diddy over a misunderstanding involving Cassie.
Irritated, Wale dismissed the story as “preposterous,” echoing earlier denials from his team. Back in Nov. 2023, his reps likened the tale to a scene from the classic film The Five Heartbeats, suggesting it was lifted straight from Hollywood fiction rather than real life.
The rumor originated from fellow D.C. artist Ant Glizzy, who alleged Wale had made a move on Cassie in the studio and paid the price. Ant even claimed that another local rapper, Shy Glizzy, witnessed the whole thing. Despite how wild the story sounds, Wale isn’t here for it—and he’s made that very clear.
