Bad Bunny’s Debí Tirar Más Fotos rockets back to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart dated May 17, thanks to a major vinyl release that drove a 123% jump in weekly units. The album earned 84,500 equivalent album units in the U.S. during the tracking week ending May 8 — over 48,000 of which came from vinyl sales alone, according to Luminate.
The blue double-vinyl edition, sold exclusively through Bad Bunny’s official webstore for $29.98, marked the biggest single-week vinyl sales ever for a Latin album in the modern era, surpassing the previous record set by Kali Uchis’ Orquídeas. The release was only available in this one format, with no CD or additional physical editions.
With this week’s return to No. 1, Debí Tirar Más Fotos has now spent four weeks atop the chart, maintaining a spot in the top 10 for 18 straight weeks since debuting in January.
