Since Disney Princess Halle Bailey obtained a restraining order against her ex-partner DDG, his mother, Tonya Granberry, has publicly cast doubt on Bailey’s allegations.
Bailey alleges that DDG, whose real name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., engaged in ongoing abuse, including violent incidents and harassment. She claims that in January, DDG physically assaulted her during a dispute, resulting in a chipped tooth and bruises. Another incident in March allegedly involved DDG unlawfully entering Bailey’s home, destroying recording equipment, and locking her out.

As a result, a restraining order was granted, requiring DDG to stay at least 100 yards away from Bailey and their son, Halo, until a scheduled hearing on June 6.
Following the public revelation of these allegations, Tonya Granberry took to Instagram to express skepticism about the claims made against her son. She shared a message implying that lies were being told, suggesting the accusations may not be truthful.
The situation has sparked intense public discussion, with fans and commentators expressing mixed reactions online. While some support Bailey’s decision to seek legal protection, others are questioning the validity of the claims.
