2K has officially launched Season 2 of PGA TOUR 2K25, bringing fresh content to Xbox and PC’s highest-rated golf simulation of the last decade. The long-awaited debut of The Old Course at St Andrews Links is leading the update—golf’s historic “Home of Golf”—now available as a free update for all players.
Season 2 aligns with the real-life PGA TOUR schedule, spotlighting the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow, the 125th U.S. Open at Oakmont, and The 153rd Open at Royal Portrush. Players can expect themed challenges throughout the summer based on these Majors.
A new Greenskeeper Archetype is at the heart of the season, focusing on elite putting. MyPLAYERs adopting this style can pursue exclusive quests and unlock the “Green Reader” skill, enhancing their putting precision. Notable real-life counterparts include Matt Fitzpatrick, Collin Morikawa, and Lydia Ko.
The all-new Challenges mode, offering quick skill-based tasks with evolving objectives and rewards, has also been introduced. Complementing this is a new 3-hole course, developed with Charles Schwab, launching May 21—just ahead of the Charles Schwab Challenge.
Season 2 brings a refreshed Clubhouse Pass with free and premium tiers. Rewards include apparel, equipment like the Ruby Titleist T100 Iron, and a new shot type, the Long Flop. Premium players can earn even more, including the coveted Scotty Cameron Phantom 5.5 Putter and themed Greenskeeper gear.
Players can unlock rewards at their own pace, with previous and current season content accessible through the Member’s Pass.
