Cassie and Alex Fine Speak Out After Testifying in Diddy Case: “Cassie Saved Cassie”

It was an intense week for all involved in the Diddy trial, especially key witnesses. Following her pivotal testimony in the high-profile trial involving Sean “Diddy” Combs, Cassie and her husband, Alex Fine, have broken their silence—offering a powerful and emotional statement through their legal team that underscores resilience, healing, and truth.

Get this, Cassie, who testified over the course of four days, spoke directly to other survivors in her message, expressing hope that her voice might inspire courage in those still living in fear.

“I hope that my testimony has given strength and a voice to other survivors, and can help others who have suffered to speak up and also heal from abuse and fear,” she said, according to TMZ. “For me, the more I heal, the more I can remember. And the more I can remember, the more I will never forget.”

What’s more, with her testimony behind her, the artist shared she’s ready to close that chapter and focus on her growing family.

“I’m glad to put this chapter of my life to rest as I turn to focus on the conclusion of my pregnancy,” she added.

Alex Fine, her husband and vocal supporter throughout the legal ordeal, also issued a heartfelt message of support, acknowledging both the pain Cassie endured and the strength she’s shown throughout.

“I have felt tremendous pride and overwhelming love for Cass,” he shared. “I have felt profound anger that she has been subjected to sitting in front of a person who tried to break her.”

In a particularly powerful moment of the statement, Fine made it clear that his wife’s survival and healing are her own victories—not anyone else’s.

“You did not break her spirit nor her smile,” he said. “I did not save Cassie, as some have said. To say that is an insult to the years of painful work my wife has done to save herself. Cassie saved Cassie,” he wrote. “She alone broke free from abuse, coercion, violence, and threats. She did the work of fighting the demons that only a demon himself could have done to her.”
