Kid Cudi will testify against Diddy in his federal trial. According to Complex, Cudi could take the stand as early as Wednesday afternoon. Two witnesses are currently ahead of him.
Recent court proceedings revealed Diddy demanded $20,000 from Cassie’s mother after he was angry about Cassie’s relationship with Cudi. Cassie’s mother, Regina Ventura, revealed she and her husband took out a home equity loan to pay the funds to cover expenses that Diddy paid for Cassie. Diddy would return the money days later without explanation.
Diddy allegedly had threatened to release two sex tapes of Cassie, one before Christmas Day 2011, and another shortly after. Diddy was also stated to have threatened both Cassie and Scott.
In 2023, Diddy was being sued by his former lover Cassie, stating she was raped and sex trafficked during their relationship. Cassie, born Casandra Ventura, filed the suit in New York City, saying she was the victim of a “cycle of abuse, violence and sex trafficking.”
Included in the lawsuit was a 2018 rape, which Cassie stated as Diddy attempted to prevent her from leaving him.
“After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships,” Cassie said in a statement. “With the expiration of New York’s Adult Survivors Act fast approaching, it became clear that this was an opportunity to speak up about the trauma I have experienced and that I will be recovering from for the rest of my life.”
The complaint was first reported by The New York Times, highlighting that the suit leads with a trigger warning. Additional disturbing claims included Cassie being beaten by Diddy, forced sex acts with male sex workers while he filmed and masturbated to the encounters, threats via firearms, and blowing up another recording artist’s car for having an interest in the singer. Reports later revealed the vehicle to belong to Kid Cudi.
"In one incident described in the court papers, Cassie says that in early 2012, Diddy grew so angry about her dating Kid Cudi that he said he would blow up the rapper’s car. “Around that time,” the suit says, “Kid Cudi’s car exploded in his driveway.”

Roger Bonds–former bodyguard to Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, has announced the imminent release of a tell-all book that promises to reveal the truth behind the mysterious car explosion involving rapper Kid Cudi. The revelation comes as legal documents from Cassie Ventura’s $30 million civil lawsuit against Diddy suggest that the mogul threatened to blow up Kid Cudi’s car in retaliation for his romantic involvement with Cassie.
Cassie’s lawsuit, filed in 2023, alleges that Diddy engaged in threatening behavior and ultimately orchestrated the explosion of Kid Cudi’s car after discovering Cassie’s romantic connection with the rapper. The complaint asserts that Diddy, feeling romantically spurned, frequently reminded Cassie of his ability to cause harm, going as far as requiring her to carry his gun in her purse.
The lawsuit details Cassie’s relationship with Kid Cudi during a challenging period in her connection with Diddy. In 2011, while dating Kid Cudi, Cassie faced violence from Diddy, leading her to seek refuge at Kid Cudi’s house. Diddy allegedly coerced her into returning, where she faced further abuse. In 2012, Diddy reportedly threatened to blow up Kid Cudi’s car, expressing a desire for the rapper to be near the vehicle when it happened. Shortly afterward, Kid Cudi’s car exploded in his driveway.
Roger Bonds, having been part of Diddy’s inner circle, is set to spill the details surrounding the controversial incident in his upcoming tell-all book. Bonds recently teased the book on his Instagram page, hinting at the revelations he plans to share with the public.
As Roger Bonds prepares to release his tell-all book, the public awaits further insights into the surp events surrounding Kid Cudi’s car explosion. Bonds’ book is slated for release next month, promising to uncover new details and perspectives on the explosive incident.
