Beyoncé has officially made history at MetLife Stadium, closing out a record-breaking five-show run on her Cowboy Carter Tour. With back-to-back sold-out performances on May 22, 24, 25, 28 and 29, she now holds the top spot in the stadium’s history across all major categories.
The run included performances in harsh conditions—one under cold skies and another in heavy rain, but Beyoncé delivered nearly three-hour shows packed with high-energy choreography, bold storytelling and genre-defying musical arrangements inspired by her Grammy-winning album Cowboy Carter.
She now holds the stadium’s all-time records for most concerts by a single artist (12 total), most shows on a single tour (5), highest ticket sales on a single run (over 250,000 tickets), and highest grossing run of all time (more than $70 million).
The New Jersey residency follows earlier five-night and three-night stints in Los Angeles and Chicago, respectively, on what has become one of the most ambitious tours of her career. Each performance featured new custom looks from fashion houses including Burberry, Gucci, Off-White, and Mugler.
The tour heads next to Europe, with six nights at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and three shows at Stade de France in Paris.
Produced by Parkwood Entertainment and promoted by Live Nation, the Cowboy Carter Tour is also supported by curated experiences from Marriott Bonvoy, SirDavis, Cécred, Ulta Beauty, and Vibee. Through her BeyGOOD Foundation, Beyoncé is also committing more than $3 million to local communities throughout the tour.
