T-Pain Shuts Down Retirement Talk Announcing ‘TP20 Tour’

Retirement who, what, when? T-Pain is clearing up the rumors and hitting the stage once again. The Grammy winning hitmaker has officially announced the TP20 Tour set to kick off this fall in celebration of his twenty year legacy in the game.

Twenty years is a feat.

Fans were left guessing after he posted an emotional clip on the Gram saying, “I gave you everything for 20 years. Right now, I just need some time for me.” The video closed with a cryptic message that read, “This might be it” sparking serious speculation that the Tallahassee native might be calling it quits.

But clearly T-Pain is far from done. Clearly.

On June 3 he revealed he’s taking the celebration on the road starting October 3 at New York City’s iconic Radio City Music Hall. The tour will touch down in several major cities across the country and he’s bringing the southern funk and soul energy of EARTHGANG along for the ride as special guests.

Get this, in a statement accompanying the announcement T-Pain made it clear this tour is about gratitude as much as it is about the music.

“This tour isn’t just a celebration” he shared. “It’s a thank you. For everyone who played my records in college dorms. For the ones now playing them for their kids.”
