Kanye West has entered the fray between Donald Trump and Elon Musk, urging both men to put their differences aside. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the rapper and designer posted, “Broooos please noooooo 🤗 We love you both so much.” The plea comes amid a very public and escalating war of words between the former allies, as speculation grows around the cause of their fallout.

The tension recently boiled over when Trump told reporters in the Oval Office that his relationship with Musk had soured. “Elon and I had a great relationship. I don’t know if we will anymore,” he said, expressing disappointment in the billionaire tech mogul.
Musk, never one to hold back on his own platform, fired back with a series of posts claiming, “Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate.” He later dropped a shocking accusation, writing, “Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”
Kanye has long been an outspoken supporter of both men. He previously praised Trump for commuting Larry Hoover’s sentence, once posting, “F**k anybody who don’t love Trump. You’re dumb.” Ye has also expressed admiration for Musk over the years and frequently uses X to amplify both their voices.
The root of the Trump-Musk feud appears to center around policy. Musk has vocally criticized Trump’s new domestic agenda bill, calling it a “disgusting abomination” that would worsen the federal deficit. Trump, in turn, claims Musk is simply upset over the removal of a tax credit for electric vehicles—a key issue for Tesla and Musk’s broader business interests.
Despite their recent friction, Musk was a major Trump backer during the 2024 presidential election and was the largest publicly disclosed donor in that cycle, according to CNN. His support earned him a cabinet-level role as head of the Department of Government Efficiency, a position he recently stepped down from.
Whether Kanye’s public plea can mend the rift remains to be seen, but the clash between two of the most powerful voices in politics and tech continues to unfold in real time.
