This divorce and “moving on” journey is getting uglier by the day. Offset is making it clear he’s not cool with his son becoming part of what he views as a public stunt involving Cardi B’s rumored new relationship with NFL star Stefon Diggs.
Socials lit up this week after photos surfaced of three-year-old Wave, Offset and Cardi’s son, rocking a braid style identical to the one worn by Diggs during a workout with the New England Patriots. Fans quickly connected the dots and the images went viral, sparking a strong response from the former Migos member.
Offset took to X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday to voice his angst.
“Now when somebody die for playing with my son then call me the crash out,” he posted. Moments later, he followed with, “Idc how I look trolling wit my kid ends bad.”
Yikes. That part.
Shortly after the posts, Offset deactivated both his X and Gram accounts, adding more mystery and intensity to the already buzzing situation.

According to Page Six, Wave had been wearing the braid pattern as far back as April. Diggs, however, was just recently spotted with the same style during training at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts.

Although Offset has previously expressed that he is at peace with Cardi B moving on, this latest moment struck a nerve. The Atlanta rapper has mostly kept his thoughts private compared to Cardi, who has been much more open about their former relationship in recent weeks.
In one of her recent X Spaces rants, Cardi did not hold back. “I don’t think people understand how tired I was. How tired, how mentally drained I was. I was literally losing my mind. I gave it chances after chances after chances,” she shared. Reflecting on how toxic the relationship had become, she continued, “I was going to end up going to jail ‘cause I was going to end up killing [him]. Seriously, with my own bare hands.”
Just ugly.
