SiriusXM has teamed up with hip hop icon Jeezy to launch Thug Motivation Radio, a special pop-up channel curated by the Atlanta rap legend himself. The limited-run channel honors both Black Music Month and the 20th anniversary of Jeezy’s groundbreaking debut album, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101.
Thug Motivation Radio will be available to SiriusXM subscribers on channel 79 in vehicles from June 25 through July 1, and on the SiriusXM app beginning June 4 through July 3.
The exclusive channel takes fans on a journey through Jeezy’s celebrated career, blending music and personal reflections that highlight his evolution from trap star to rap mogul. The programming features hand-selected tracks from Jeezy’s deep catalog, including classic hits, standout collaborations, and influential tracks from artists who inspired him like Tupac and Jay-Z.
A major focus of the channel will be Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, the 2005 debut album that helped define the trap sound and cemented Jeezy’s place in hip hop history.
To mark the launch, SiriusXM will host a special Playback with Jeezy event live from their Atlanta studios on Monday, June 23. The intimate session will feature Jeezy revisiting and discussing key tracks from Thug Motivation 101, offering fans exclusive insight into the creation of the album that started it all.
