Fat Joe, Jadakiss Promote Dads Affected by the Justice System with Uplifting NYC Father’s Day Event

Here’s something that deserves all the limelight. This Father’s Day, hip hop legends Fat Joe and Jadakiss joined forces with REFORM Alliance and New York hotspot Sei Less to give something deeper than a gift bag or greeting card. They created a space of unity, healing, and recognition for fathers working to rebuild after facing the challenges of the criminal justice system.

Get this, yesterday, Wednesday, June 11, seventy fathers alongside their families were welcomed into a private room at Sei Less for a memorable dining experience featuring the restaurant’s signature Asian fusion dishes. The event honored men who are navigating the journey of reconnecting with loved ones and reclaiming their roles as fathers after periods of incarceration or legal hardship.

Fat Joe and Jadakiss personally greeted each guest, offered words of encouragement, snapped selfies, and even vibed with attendees over music. Their presence made the gathering feel like more than a celebration. It became a shared experience rooted in resilience and realness.

“Working with Fat Joe, Jadakiss, and REFORM to celebrate these fathers at Sei Less was truly special,” said Sei Less owner Dara Mirjahangiry. “Ahead of Father’s Day, we really wanted to shine a light on these fathers who have been impacted by the criminal justice system and support their re-entry journey with compassion. It was a powerful way to bond through culture, community and cuisine.”
