Nintendo Switch 2 Breaks Company Record with 3.5 Million Units Sold

Nintendo announced Wednesday that the newly released Nintendo Switch 2 has sold 3.5 million units worldwide, setting a new company record for first-week sales. Priced at $450, the console has achieved what Nintendo called the “highest global sales level” of any of its devices within the first four days of release.

With a target of 15 million units sold by March 2026, the strong launch puts Nintendo on pace to hit its goal and reinforces the Switch brand’s continued dominance in the gaming market.
