Khaby Lame, the biggest creator on TikTok, ever with a massive 162 million followers, has found himself at the center of unexpected immigration drama. The 24-year-old social media star, known for turning viral nonsense into comedy gold without saying a single word, has officially left the United States following a run-in with ICE.
So basically, the biggest TikToker in the world was just detained and told to GTFO of the United States.
Lame has brand deals with huge companies such as Hugo Boss, Doritos, Binance, and more.
But all that aside, he was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.
Officials stated that his visa had expired, claiming he entered the country on April 30 and remained beyond the legally permitted stay.
Rather than face full-blown deportation and risk being banned from reentering the U.S. for a decade, Lame accepted a voluntary departure and left the country that same day.
The situation stirred up mixed signals. A representative from Sharks Celebrities Management attempted to discredit the story, claiming the ICE allegations were “fake news” and that Lame had never been in the U.S. at that time. But the receipts told a different story.
Photos from the 2025 Met Gala in New York on May 5 clearly showed Lame on the red carpet. While the star himself stayed silent through it all, his Gram account quietly picked up right where it left off. One of his first posts after the exit featured him hanging out in São Paulo with Brazilian soccer player Emerson Royal.
No one is safe, huh? Not even Khaby and his signature hand gestures should be shrugged off. Got it.
