Speaking to the press on Monday, June 16, Adams addressed the backlash, saying, “I don’t know the young man. I’m not familiar with his streaming at all.”
Sneako, who has gained notoriety for past inflammatory remarks and bans from platforms like Twitch for what was described as hateful conduct, somehow ended up at a casual gathering with Adams, the mayor’s son Jordan Coleman, and Amber Rose. The unfiltered livestream caught many by surprise and immediately raised eyebrows.
In case you missed it, during his recent stream at the mansion, Sneako was seen interacting with the mayor in a laid-back cigar session that quickly became a lightning rod for criticism. The weird timing could not be worse for Adams, whose political platform includes a strong stance against antisemitism. Still, the mayor defended the interaction by explaining his open-door approach to discourse. “I talk to anyone and everyone,” he said. “Even if I had known who he was, I still would have sat down with him to challenge his views.”
