The Pete & Thomas Foundation has announced that Grammy-winning singer and songwriter Muni Long will perform at its first-ever gala, set for Wednesday, July 16, at Gotham Hall in New York City. The event is organized by Megan Thee Stallion, who founded the non-profit in honor of her late parents, Holly Thomas and Joseph Pete III.
Known for hits like “Hrs and Hrs” and “Made For Me,” Muni Long joins an already star-studded lineup. Actress Taraji P. Henson will host the evening, while DJ D-Nice will keep the energy high on the turntables. The gala will also feature auctioneer Harry Santa-Olalla, widely recognized for his work with non-profits.
The night will honor community leaders who are driving meaningful change, including Pastors Juanita and Rudy Rasmus of Bread of Life Inc., LaTosha Brown of the Southern Black Girls & Women’s Consortium, and Mila Henry, founder of MH Boxes.
The gala aims to raise funds to support the foundation’s initiatives in education, housing, health, and wellness. Since launching in 2022, the Pete & Thomas Foundation has worked to uplift women, children, senior citizens, and underserved communities.
In February, the foundation introduced the Hotties Helping Grant, providing 30 grants to 30 non-profits in celebration of Megan’s 30th birthday.
The July gala will bring together influential voices across entertainment, sports, business, and philanthropy for a night dedicated to advocacy and community impact.
