This one is a doozie. Nick Cannon has been very public about his ever-growing family, but even he admits it’s a challenge keeping track of everyone.
The Masked Singer host, who is a father of 12, continues to embrace his unconventional path. Cannon is steadfast in his unapologetic stance regarding his family choices.
Get this while sitting down for a hilarious and revealing interview on The Really Good Podcast with none other than Bobbi Althoff, Cannon was grilled on everything from his mindset around fatherhood to whether he can name all 12 of his children without slipping up.
When asked point-blank why he has so many kids, Cannon offered a royal-level explanation.
“I have a king complex,” Cannon admitted, comparing his situation to that of King Solomon, the biblical figure known for having 700 wives and 300 concubines. Still, Cannon made it clear he isn’t looking to build a household full of queens. “I don’t want no wives, I just want kids,” he said without hesitation.
I don’t think we’ve ever heard anyone say they’ve a whole king complex, but this is 2025.
Though he didn’t confirm whether the family count will continue to rise, he left the door wide open with this thought: “I don’t know what God and the universe have in store for me.”
Cannon also gave listeners a peek into what it’s like raising a squad of unique personalities. He spoke specifically about his two-year-old daughter, Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon, joking that she “cries in surround sound.”
That’s when Althoff hit him with a curveball, asking if he could name all his children on the spot. The question sparked a moment of laughter, reflecting a truth even Cannon couldn’t deny. Keeping up with a dozen names is no easy task, even for a multi-hyphenate mogul.
