Frankie Grande and Peloton’s Matty Maggiacomo Join NYC Pride with Record-Breaking Run in Central Park

New York City’s vibrant LGBTQ+ Pride celebrations extended to Central Park on Saturday, June 28th, as over 7,500 runners participated in the sold-out 44th Front Runners New York LGBT Pride Run® 4M. The event, a cornerstone of Pride Month, saw enthusiastic participation from the running community, including notable figures like Peloton Instructor Matty Maggiacomo and entertainer Frankie Grande.

The annual race is a collaborative effort between New York Road Runners (NYRR), the renowned nonprofit responsible for iconic events like the TCS New York City Marathon, and Front Runners New York, the world’s largest LGBTQ+ running club. Together, they created an energetic and inclusive atmosphere for runners of all backgrounds to celebrate Pride and promote health and wellness. The record turnout underscored the strong community spirit and growing momentum of the Pride Run, making it a memorable day in Central Park.
