Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg And Pat McAfee Donate $50K To Support Pittsburgh Public Schools

Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg have taken their Mac & Devin Go to High School chemistry off-screen and into the real world, teaming up with ESPN host and former NFL punter Pat McAfee to support public education in Pittsburgh.

The trio donated $50,000 to the Pittsburgh Public Schools District, a significant show of support from three proud representatives of the city and culture. Pat McAfee, who was born and raised in Pittsburgh, joined forces with Wiz and Snoop to fund district-wide programs that aim to uplift the student population.

“This one-time donation not only reflects a shared belief in the potential of our students, but also reinforces the power and impact of community,” said Portia Martin, media manager for Pittsburgh Public Schools.

The funds will be used for initiatives that directly support the district’s approximately 20,000 students. As the second-largest school district in Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh Public Schools serves a richly diverse population, nearly 80% of students are economically disadvantaged, and more than 50 languages are spoken throughout the district.

The donation is not just financial; it’s a cultural message that success and visibility can still give back to the communities that raised them.
