adidas Originals Brings Football Culture to the Forefront at Paris Fashion Week

At Paris Fashion Week Men’s Spring/Summer 2026, adidas Originals celebrated the enduring impact of football culture far beyond the pitch. Drawing from its deep athletic roots and design innovation, the brand’s immersive experience spanned past, present, and future: blending heritage, high fashion, and streetwear across several striking activations in the city.

Anchoring its presence was an exclusive archival exhibition featuring rare football artifacts flown in from adidas’ headquarters in Germany. Guests were guided by adidas historian Sandra Trapp and invited to examine iconic pieces like the Questra ball from the 1994 World Cup and the Teamgeist from 2006, both symbols of pivotal cultural eras. Classic boots, such as the Predator Accelerator and F50 adiZero Chameleon, were also displayed, offering a look at silhouettes that inspired today’s designs.

The future took shape in the unveiling of the F50 MEGARIDE, a bold hybrid of the F50+ XTRX FG boot and a3 MEGARIDE running sole. adidas Originals also previewed new collaborations with creative talents such as Willy Chavarria, Grace Wales Bonner, and Yohji Yamamoto’s Y‑3, each reinterpreting football style for modern streets.

Throughout the week, Adidas hosted curated sonic installations, fashion show appearances, and afterparties. Highlights included Wales Bonner’s metallic copper revival of the field shoe and Chavarria’s “HURON” show featuring James Harden. A Y‑3 performance closed the week, showcasing the Megaride silhouette as both footwear and artistic expression.

Together, these moments showcased football as more than a sport: a global language of identity and style.
