Today marks the launch of applications for the 2026 class of Disney Dreamers Academy, the signature mentorship program at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Now in its 19th year, this transformative experience empowers 100 high school students each year to dream big and pursue their goals with purpose.
Teens from across the country can apply or be nominated by visiting DisneyDreamersAcademy.com. Selected students will embark on an all-expenses-paid journey to Walt Disney World Resort, where they’ll spend several days immersed in life-changing workshops, mentorship sessions, and networking opportunities.
Since its founding in 2008, Disney Dreamers Academy has inspired more than 1,700 students, many of whom have gone on to become doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs, artists, and mentors to the next generation of Dreamers. The program underscores Disney’s commitment to supporting diverse communities by equipping teens with the tools and confidence to bring their aspirations to life.
Each year, thousands of applicants share their personal stories and dreams through essay submissions. From this talented pool, 100 students are selected to experience an unforgettable program alongside a parent or guardian. Participants engage in hands-on workshops across disciplines such as business, entertainment, and science, including a behind-the-scenes look at career opportunities within The Walt Disney Company itself.
Throughout the event, students build essential skills like effective communication, leadership, and strategic networking, gaining knowledge and inspiration to fuel their ambitions long after they return home.
