Big legal win for Druski. The digital star has officially secured a major legal win after being tied to Sean âDiddyâ Combsâ ongoing legal battles. The comedian was accused of raping and drugging a woman at a 2018 party, but a federal judge has now confirmed there is no evidence connecting him to the allegations.
According to our good friends at AllHipHop, U.S. District Judge Rita F. Lin reprimanded the plaintiffâs attorneys for continuing to include Druski in the lawsuit despite what she described as overwhelming proof that he could not have been present during the alleged incident.
In case you were doing something more productive when this dark story broke, the case stems from wild accusations made by Ashley Parham, who claimed she was gang raped at a gathering in Orinda, California in 2018 by Diddy, Druski, and others. In her statement, Parham alleged Druski âcovered her in baby oil or some form of lubricant and used her body like a slip and slide,â while also accusing Diddy of recording the assault and later threatening her. NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. was also named but has denied any involvement.
Druskiâs very thorough legal team presented phone and bank records that placed him in Georgia the night of the alleged assault. The comedian also pointed out that in 2018 he was not yet in the entertainment business and did not even know Diddy personally.
Despite this evidence, Parhamâs attorneys declared in July that they had no intention of removing Druski from the case. Judge Lin warned them their refusal âappears to lack any reasonable basisâ and gave them until September 9 to either justify their stance or officially drop Druski from the lawsuit. If they fail to comply, not only will his claims be dismissed but Parhamâs legal team could be sanctioned and forced to cover Druskiâs attorney fees.
Anyways, the ruling marks a decisive victory for the 30 year old entertainer, clearing his name from one of the most high profile legal sagas in hip hop right now.
