New leaked audio has surfaced featuring Young Thug sounding off on Kendrick Lamar after being denied a feature request. The clips, which follow a string of recently released call recordings tied to Thug, reveal his frustrations with several industry peers.
In the latest recording, Thug takes aim at Lamar for declining to appear on his 2023 album Business Is Business. âThese n****s too big, like âI ainât doing no features,â why?â Thug said. âWhy wouldnât you wanna do a feature for a superstar? Put somebody on! Itâs okay to run your few hundred Mâs up, but whoâd you help, though?â
The Atlanta rapper doubled down by invoking Drakeâs name, suggesting Lamarâs reluctance to collaborate is what keeps him from reaching Drakeâs level of global dominance. âThatâs why these n****s will never be bigger than Drake, EVER in life,â Thug added.
The leaked audio also included remarks about other rappers. Thug alleged that the East Coast doesnât fully support Lamar and argued that features with artists like Lil Durk, Lil Baby, or himself could strengthen Kendrickâs mainstream appeal. He even mocked Lamarâs minimal social media use, suggesting he should delete his accounts altogether if he wants to prove heâs disconnected from the internet.
At one point, Thug also dissed Baby Keem, dismissing him as âbulls*** a** Keem,â a jab unlikely to mend fences with Lamarâs camp anytime soon.
These comments arrive alongside a series of other controversial leaked calls in which Thug criticized Migos, questioned Gunnaâs streaming numbers, and claimed Gucci Mane became âsoftâ after his release from prison.
Amid all the drama, Thug has hinted at a major announcement for his long-rumored project Uy Scuti. While no official details have been confirmed, fans are hopeful the rapper can shift the conversation back to his music.
