J. Cole has reassured fans that his long-awaited project It’s A Boy has not been shelved. While the rapper has released a heavy volume of music this year, he explained that timing played a role in pushing the project back. Cole said the team nearly released it ahead of his latest album but decided to hold off to avoid overwhelming listeners with too much material at once.
“No it’s not scrapped. it will release. we almost put it out before the album. but with the birthday blizzard tape and 24 song album we was like it’s a lot of music to process.”
